Bali adventure – DAY 2: Kuta

Bali adventure – DAY 2: Kuta

Saturday 20th August 2016:

We had a nice long lay in n them had a slow wander down our road to a little cafe with an outside garden. We ordered the local breakfast which comprises of fried rice with a fried egg on top, some prawn crackers, a bowl of fruit and a cup of tea plus freshly squeezed fruit juice. All for £3!!!

We then headed to the beach for a couple hour of surfing which was amazing. The water is so warm that you can do it in your bikini. I wore my rash best so that I wouldn’t burn as the sun is pretty powerful.

We then returned to the hotel to chill by the pool n drink from huge coconuts!

After a nice chill, we walked into Kuta town for some dinner. We explored a small temple on the way which was had some interesting architecture.

I had grilled fish for dinner which was lovely. We then checked out a load of surf shops n laughed at every bloke with a scooter saying ‘scooter scooter yes?’ Every time we passed them. We walked a looooong way and on our way home stopped at this bar where we heard a rock band playing covers. It was really good and they took requests, so we stayed late to sing along 😄
